Purchasing Photographs and the
Use of Website Images

GENERAL CONDITIONS

Please note that use of photographic images taken from the PhotoFile Cornwall or Redgate Smithy websites without permission, for printed publication or for use on other websites, is an infringement of copyright.

Please contact PhotoFile Cornwall at photofile@redgatesmithy.co.uk if you wish to use any of our images, or to purchase any of the images featured; or alternatively use the contact details at the bottom of the page.

In all cases, the copyright of all images, and all supplied images, remains solely with Clive ffitch, and no image may be sold, or re-sold on to third parties, with or without any implied copyright of such images.

DIGITAL IMAGES
Digital photographic images can be supplied for use in Calendars, Greetings Cards, Magazines, Booklets and Brochures, Books or other appropriate publications, or Websites. Purchase is for single use of each image in any given publication, and allows for that use any time within one year from the date of purchase.

Purchasing Photographic Images for Publications (High Resolution):
For single image use in a single publication, irrespective of print run, used within one year.
"Clive ffitch, PhotoFile Cornwall; www.photofilecornwall.co.uk" to be credited in each publication, including the website link reference.

Images are supplied as JPEGs (.jpg); Size 2560 x 1920 pixels at 300dpi for up to A4 printing:
     At 300dpi this gives an image approx. 8.5" x  6.4" (215mm x 162mm)
     At 200dpi this gives an image approx. 12.8" x  9.6" (325mm x 243mm)
Some images can be supplied as 4000 x 3000 pixels, or 3264 x 2448 pixels, dependent on when taken.
Cost £20.00 per image; supplied electronically

Some images are only available as smaller JPEGs; Size 1600 x 1200 pixels at 300dpi for A5 printing:
     At 300dpi this gives an image approx. 5.3" x  4.0" (134mm x 101mm)
     At 200dpi this gives an image approx. 8.0" x  6.0" (203mm x 152mm)
Cost £10.00 per image; supplied electronically

Purchasing Images for Use on Websites (Low Resolution):
For single image use within a single website, on any page, with no time restrictions.
"Clive ffitch, PhotoFile Cornwall; www.photofilecornwall.co.uk" to be credited on the usage website, complete with the linked URL "www.photofilecornwall.co.uk"

Images supplied as JPEGs (.jpg); Size 640 x 480 pixels (internet quality; approx 100KB) for website use:
Cost £10.00 per image; supplied electronically

MOUNTED & FRAMED PHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTS
Images are inkjet printed on semi-gloss or matt photographic paper, giving a "softened" image, and are supplied as single prints, either as complete Mounted Prints, fully finished Framed Prints, or Print only.

Purchasing Mounted Photographic Prints (complete ready for Framing):
Images are inkjet printed on either semi-gloss or matt photographic paper, giving a "softened" look, with a sympathetically coloured mount, labelled backing board, and protective resealable polypropylene envelope:
     Print Size  approx 10.0" x  7.0"; ready mounted in a 14" x 11" mount with approx 2" borders
Cost £12.00 per Mounted Print + £2.50 postage and packing (within UK). Please state semi-gloss or matt.

Purchasing Framed and Mounted Photographic Prints (fully finished):
Images are inkjet printed on either semi-gloss or matt photographic paper, giving a "softened" look, in a sympathetically coloured mount, secured, taped and labelled back board, and stylish 14" x 11" frame:
     Print Size  approx 10.0" x  7.0"; pre-mounted and supplied in a 14" x 11" frame
Cost £18.00 per Framed & Mounted Print (collection only, or request p/p). State semi-gloss or matt.

Purchasing Photographic Prints only :
Images are inkjet printed on either semi-gloss or matt photographic paper, giving a "softened" look:
     Print Size  approx 10.0" x  7.0" (can then be mounted and framed to your own tastes)
Cost £9.00 per Print + £1.50 postage and packing (within UK). Please state semi- gloss or matt.

CONTACT AND ORDERING DETAILS
Images required for use in both a publication, and on a website, are charged for both.

If you wish to purchase more than six images, please supply your requirements and ask for a quotation.

If you wish to use images for charity use, please contact us.

Payment is by either UK Cheque (GBP Sterling) payable to "Redgate Smithy", or by PayPal (please ask for details; we can then send you a PayPal Invoice).
