Redgate Smithy is a quiet and peaceful B&B, with comfortable beamed, and well equipped cottage style bedrooms, with an air of seclusion to rest your weary feet. All of our beds are also very comfortable! Each bed has a sleep-inducing SleepWise "Dream-on" orthopaedic mattress, to ensure the sweetest of dreams.

All three bedrooms have a drinks tray with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and a selection of fruit teas, together with a tin of biscuits for that midnight snack. Fresh filtered water is also provided. You will also find each bedroom has a hairdryer, clothes brush, emergency sewing kit and a two-pin adapter plug, as well as an alarm clock, torches, a box of tissues, and selected books and Cornwall magazines! All the bathrooms and ensuites have a supply of white fluffy towels and facecloths, shower gel and body lotion, and shower caps.

Each bedroom has a Digital Freeview TV, plus separate Radio, and a comprehensive local Food Guide and "Food Map" with recommendations for where to eat in the evening. There is a detailed folder of information about Redgate Smithy, and selected guides and information about the surrounding area.

All our Tariffs (see below) include our full Breakfast Menu, cooked to your order whenever you come down. Choose from any of our temptations, which are served in the Conservatory overlooking the garden.

We have WiFi available in all rooms if you bring your own laptop with you, and we have a laptop PC set up downstairs for our Guests' own use... use it to search the Internet, check What's On locally, or to check your own Webmail and E-mail.

We aim to provide a relaxing atmosphere for our guests, with all of our guests' rooms separated upstairs away from our own, each with their own facilities.

Rooms are available from 4pm on your day of arrival.

Bedroom 1 ~ Double Ensuite Room

This is a very comfortable Double Room situated upstairs at the front of the house, which looks out onto a small lane. This is our largest room, with attractively fitted bedroom furniture, which has an Ensuite Shower Room attached.

The room is furnished with a double wardrobe, and ample drawer and cupboard space. There is a wicker armchair and small table for writing, and extra dresser space for the drinks tray and Digital Freeview TV.

Bedroom 2 ~ Garden Double Room & Private Bathroom

The Garden Double Room is also upstairs, and overlooks the garden at the back of the house. You have your own Private Bathroom (with a bath and shower over), just across a small landing. White waffle bathrobes are provided for your modesty! For many guests, this is their favourite room.

The room is furnished with a tallboy for hanging space and drawers storage, and space for the drinks tray and Digital Freeview TV. There is also a small table and comfortable folding chair for writing.

Bedroom 3 ~ Twin Ensuite Room

This is our attractive Twin Room which has two very comfortable single beds, and is also situated upstairs at the front of the house, looking out onto the small lane. There is an Ensuite Shower Room attached, with a very refreshing power shower unit!

There is a tallboy unit for hanging space, and separate chest of drawers for storage, and space for the drinks tray and Digital Freeview TV. There  is also a small table and comfortable folding chair for writing.
